Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Amp/Receiver/Speakers/Connections/CablesSTR-KSL50 receiver in protect mode.basil_brush22009-06-06 18:52
First 650 characters of this postI have picked up a HT-SL50 home theater setup from a friend and have been using it connected to the computer to listen music. Yesterday the receiver, a STR-KSL50, went into protect mode a couple of times but switching it off and on again sorted it out. Today it went into protect mode and will not come out, even with all wires disconnected and completely removing power. I have reset both the system setup and sound field setup to factory defaults. I read quite a bit about protect mode on various websites but haven't found anything really useful. If it helps, the last time it went into

First 650 characters of this postHi, can anybody help. I have a STR-KSL50 surround sound system which has been working fine for nearly 4 years. I turned it on this morning and it played about 3 seconds of music and then came up with "PROTECT" in the display and went silent. Any ideas?
    Television ConfigurationKV-24LS35U and using external speakersSJSma22004-12-28 14:00
First 650 characters of this postI have a TV KV-24LS35U, and have just purchased a home Cinema receiver STR-KSL500 and speakers. I wish to use the external speakers not the TV speakers. I can change this on the TV in the sound adjustment menu ( set TV speakers to off) and it works OK. But once the TV has been turned off, this option reverts back to TV speakers on. How do I make it so that TV speakers remains off and I do not need to reset this option every time I turn the TV on?Thanks

First 650 characters of this postHi all,Im about to move to a new apartment and im thinking about getting a Home Theater system to go in the living room. Im a total idiot when it comes to HT so im not sure what to get. After some initial research i\'ve decided to go with Sony because i think its a brand that offers a good quality/price ratio. My budget is 2000 tops and im basically looking for a system that has a good ballance between quality, features, price and longevity. After countless hours trying to gather and comparing as much info as i could find on Sony AV components (d
