| First 650 characters of this post | Sony 46" LCD Model# KDL-46W3000 Around 3 years old.After firstpower up of the day the tv will stay on roughly 3 minutes and then shutdown by itself and the standby light will flash red 6 times. I can turnthe tv on again, but it will power down again with the same flashingcode. If I repeat turning it on about 3-5 times it will finally stay onand not power down again. I noticed that if I turn the tv off at nightand then turn it on again in the morning the problem will not occur. After switch on the screen flashes on then goes off and into standby followed by the red led blinking twice every 3 seconds.I did notice instantly that the main fan doesn't come on but not sure if this comes on straight away at switch on? There is no supply voltage to the fan but as mentioned not sure if the fan activation is instant on this plasma.
