| Television Troubleshooting | Sony KDF-55xs955 no picture | jehill | 4 | 2012-08-11 10:14 |
| First 650 characters of this post | That's one of the problems here. Poster's don't always post the fix. DIC block replacement is suggested when multi-colored vertical lines appear. However, there is no DIC block in the KDF55XS955. I may be wrong, but I believe that the B board is the equivalent in the KDF55XS955. I hate to say it, but it may be time to consider replacing your KDF55XS955 with one of the numerous LCD models now available. |

| First 650 characters of this post | We have information packages for multi-colored vertical lines for other models. However, no information is available from Sony for blue vertical lines on any rear projection LCD mode. Although it doesn\'t appear to be an optical block issue, the warranty for optical block replacement has been extended to 06/30/10. It wouldn\'t hurt to contact Sony at 1-888-993-7669 any see what they say about your issue. |

| First 650 characters of this post | Welcome to Agoraquest! I can\'t find any information on your issue. We have an information package for multi-colored lines that applies to your model, but I believe that you have a different problem. Have you tried turning the set off and unplugging it for say 30 seconds and then plugging it back in to see if that makes a difference? |
