Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

It's not unusual for power on problems to come and go.  My KV-36XBR400 exhibited this behavior for several weeks before it failed completely. So it may very well be that your set will, at some point, refuse to power on at all. Regarding the purchase of parts, be

First 650 characters of this postSony KV36HS510, Mfr Date Aug 2003 (DA4):  Won't turn on and generates 6 blinking (on/off stand-by) lights.  Previous posts suggested unplugging the TV for some duration to get it to turn back on.  I unplugged the TV for about 4 hours, plugged it in, still no picture/sound and now it blinks 5 times.  What do the lights mean?  Which boards or IC's should I check?.  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks. -J

First 650 characters of this postThere are no D board removal instructions in the service manual.  However, the A and D boards together are referred to as "the chassis".  Here are the "Chassis Assembly" removal instructions. 1)  Lift lever up on the right and left sides of the chassisbracket and gently pull the chassis assembly away fromthe bezel. 2)  Pull up and rotate both the A and D Boards in order to

    Television TroubleshootingReplaced D-Board, now picture is trapezoid-like (KV36HS510)floborg42008-02-11 12:58
First 650 characters of this postI had my D-Board replaced recently on my KV36HS510 CRT.  The picture looks very much like it did with the old board, but now it is stretched horizontally.  The bottom appears stretched more than the top.  Text and images near the left/right edges are doubled.  Also, the bottom edge is curved upward slightly.  The top may also be curved, but I don't remember. How can I get the picture back to normal? What settings would you expect to be affected by a D-Board change (in case I've missed something else)? Thanks.
