Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

Television TroubleshootingSony WEGA KV-30HS510/KV-34HS510 Help with reverting to default System Menu settingsTheSquishyTanker22012-06-11 04:45
First 650 characters of this postHi,I was messing around trying to get a Xbox 360 game to not cut off on the sides, and now my display is messed up. I tried “INI-NV1” in the service menu (per a friends suggestion), and now my screen is all messed up. Sorta bloated and droopy on one side. It's worse on non-HD channels. I tried resetting to default settings, but apparently doing “INI-NV1” resets the RAM as default, so I’m currently up s*** creek without a paddle. Even pressing "Wide Mode" on the remote does nothing. I've looked online for the past hour looking for solutions, but I've gotten nothing. My T

First 650 characters of this postThe entire picture on my 34" WEGA (KV-34HS510) is rotated counter clock-wise approximately 10 degrees.  It is not input specific; all inputs are like this as well as the Sony on screen displays - menu, channel, source, etc.  The vertical tilt in the setup menu does not move the display at all (from it's full negative to full positive adjustment range), although the vertical position adjustment does move the picture side to side.I have gone into the service menu, but there are so many settings to adjust I really don't know where to look.Every view mod
    Television TroubleshootingKV-34HS510 Trouble toggling between Video 5 and 6 Component Inputsmikefromottawa42010-12-14 19:51
First 650 characters of this postGreetings (first post) I have a KV-34HS510 and just got HD (ok so a bit slow). The Fibe TV (Canadian signal from Bell) comes in through a cable box (brand new HD PVR box) that is connected to video 5 input with component cables and to the audio ports (this is working fine and the picture is great).  I have my remote selected to the Video 5 input to watch TV through this port previous labeled DVD for my DVD. This is working fine. However that means I need to plug my DVD into the video 6 input slots using also component cables. The DVD was plugged into video 5 b

First 650 characters of this postHi MNoelH, I have a KV-34HS510. I also had several different series of blinking lights. The TV intermittently would not start on the first turn on. This went on for a long time. I moved from East Coast to out West. The TV bounced around at the bottom of a PODS container but, survived the move. Still, it would occasionally not start up after turn on. Then one day it just would not turn on at all. I took the back off and cleaned everything. I removed the bottom PC board (the large one) resoldered all of the power supply (massive) components and tried it again. No turn on.
Television TroubleshootingNeed circuit board help KV34HS510pfmack6232009-11-27 23:31
First 650 characters of this postI'm trying to find out if I should have resistance from the pins on IC's 8002 and 6501 to the surrounding pins on the circuit board. I'm just following the tracer material and checking the closest solder connection. Please read my post from 2009-06-04 for more details of the repairs I've attempted. This TV stopped working last spring and was moved into a spare room after my first repair attempts failed. Now it's time to fix it or move on so I'd like to make sure my soldering is ok before I take it to a repair shop to have it checked by a technician. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated

First 650 characters of this postOk so I have a KV-34HS510 that won't turn on, standby light blinks 6 times. This problem actually started this past April...went from unplugging the TV for a couple minutes to get it to turn on to hours then days then nothing. We bought it in March of '04 to replace our main TV and did'nt have HD channels until August of '08! But I have to agree with some of the other posts I've read the picture on these CRT's is(was)incredible! Anyhow I read the posts by BobF, sholliday and some others and decided to try the repair myself, replacing the two MCZ3001D chips on the D-board. I used the 18 pin soc

First 650 characters of this postWell I have a kv-34HS510, and it worked fine for years, but it started acting up not to long ago. It won't show a picture, and blinks 6 or 7 times. I can hear the tube powering up inside, but nothing get's displayed. I have done a little research, and found that the most common cause for this is, two IC's(MCZ3001D or MCZ3001DB) on the D-Board. I am wanting to give soldering in replacement IC's a shot. I need any pointers I can get. Also, any pictures ahowing where the IC's are located on the board, and a picture showing where the D-board is located in relation to the rest of the co

First 650 characters of this postMy KV-34HS510 is doing the 7-blink thing.  I noticed one of your members fev1969 is from Illinois.  Any chance fev1969 or anyone else in the Chicago area and willing to fix my tv for some extra cash?  I\'m happy to order the parts and I\'d do it myself, but am intimidated by the need for soldering (which I\'ve never done),  Thanks for any advice in advance.
