Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television TroubleshootingKV-32XBR400 - How to remove a D board completely from the chassisMarkEnsminger42012-10-07 01:18
First 650 characters of this postI have a KV-32XBR400, made in 1999 or 2000, that works quite nicely.  However, it has developed the fairly common problem with the MCA3001D chip.  I need to remove the D board completely from the chassis so that I can replace the chip.I have run into two problems.  One, I cannot seem to remove the board from the chassis bottom.  I think I have remove all of the screws.  I have opened all of the swing connectors from the A board and have unplugged all of the other connectors.  I have lifted the board on the left side (relat

First 650 characters of this postHi, my sony KV-32XBR400 is working fine except I've noticed that the left and righ edges are fuzzy while the center is perfect, it doesn't show that much on a normal image but it's really worst when trying to read small text from a menu or a receiver guide. Anything I could do by myself or I need a tech to have it verified? Thanks.

First 650 characters of this postSome months back I repaired my KV-32XBR400 with help from this forum (thanks BobF) by replacing IC6501 and IC8002 on the D board. (For more info on the see my post on page 14 of the "XBR 400 Dead! Help!" thread.)Since then, TheTV starts right up every time, and looks great.  However after it hasbeen running for a while, anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours, thepicture "enlarges", i.e. becomes larger than the screen size and also becomes somewhat dim.  After a few seconds of this  the CRT blanks out, whilethe sound stays on.  Turning the TV off

You'd think someone would have one.  I'm about ready to call tristate and tell them to forget my D board and junk this one, but I really liked the TV (besides - how do you get rid of somethi

First 650 characters of this postDefinitely request the Service Bulletin from jehill.Sometimes all that\'s needed to repair one of these D-Boards is a $6 MCZ3001D IC.  Replacing one is not a trivial process if you don\'t have much experience with electronics repairs.  But many forum members have been able to do this.I fixed my very similar KV-36XBR400 by replacing one of these ICs.  I\'m not sure but I think the KV-32XBR400 and the KV36XBR400 may even share the same D-Board.There\'s no guarantee that your particular TV will be fixed by replacing one of these ICs but it might be worth the

First 650 characters of this postJoe,Just to be clear, do you get any repeating blink pattern on the standby indicator?  If so, how many times does it blink?Did you see any change in behavior as you replaced the various components? The risk of sending the D-Board to Tri-State is that there\'s no guarantee that your problem is on the D-Board.  When I was thinking of sending the D-Board from my 36XBR400 to Tri-State, the customer rep suggested that I also send in the A and C boards, IIRC, so that they could be sure to find the problem. From a purely financial standpoint, you might fi
