| First 650 characters of this post | I connected the extra sound exits of my KV-28FX68B television to a Bose external sound system, and changed the TV settings by switching the "TV speakers on" to the "off" option. However, every time I switch the TV on (both from standby or off positions), the settings have returned to the "TV speakers on" position, so that the external amplifier is not used. I have to repeat the whole procedure every time, although the manual suggests that this setting is permanent. | First 650 characters of this post | Hi Folks, My Sony Trinitron TV KV-28FX68B has stopped working. When I turn it on I get a blank screen and no sound. The LED on the front of the TV beside the On/Off switch blinks 8 times. Can anyone advise whta the problem and solution is and what it would cost to get it fixed. Many thanks. CJ |

| First 650 characters of this post | I have had my Sony KV-28FX68U Wega tv for about 3 years now and it gets no more than average/low use, a strange problem started about a month ago and i contacted Sony but they are no help whatsoever.A purple type haze/halo streak is appearing on all of the on screen graphics and on teletext, its like a swoosh long line shadow/haze that goes in a right direction and the streaks are quite long.On the picture itself their is also a halo/shadow appearing around people and objects, its more annoying when people are on certain col |

We are watching mainly via Scart1 from a Sky+ box and recently we are getting an intermittent wobbly/flicker on the picture. (most notable at the sides of the screen). I have tried disconnecting all the scarts and just watching via RF and the problem is still there so it is definately the TV and not the Sky+ box. Problem is that it is very intermittent. Last night and this morning it was quite bad, this evening so far no problems.Any help would be appreciated. |

| First 650 characters of this post | Hi,I was watching a DVD when I heard a \"pop\" from behind the TV and the screen went black. Know when I turn the tv on I can hear the relays click and I hear sound for a second and then the standby led starts to blink 4 times. What I found on the net is that the KV-28FX68b has an AE-6B Chassis and that the led blinking 4 times means \"no vertical sync\". Is there someone who could tell me please if there are any parts I can check or measure, or what / where to look for to solve this failure. Thanks |

TV stand SU-LS1 because I liked the design and because I was happy with my former SONY TV set for a long period of nearly 15 years. But since some weeks the following problems show up randomly on the KV-32LS60E:- the language setting menu appears and disappears - switches to AV1, AV2, AV3..- volume increases up to maximum (very funny when happens late at night...)- continuous blinking of LED while RC commands are ignoredNote: this happens without any user intervention |
