Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television TroubleshootingKP-46WT620 - 9 Blinking Lightsspiccoli62011-03-23 10:50
First 650 characters of this postFirst of all, thanks of all of the information on this board.  After reading several threads on here, it seems that my TV needs the diodes replaced on the G-Board (A-1054-157-A). I've never soldered before and I'm not confident that I could do it myself, though this would be cheapest solution. I've called several TV Repair stores locally and tried to explain the problem, but they all want $75 to look at the problem and then give me an estimate.  I don't want to go that route either unless I need to. Replacing the G-Board seems like someth

First 650 characters of this postThis just happened to my KP-46wt520 also. Are these resistors, diodes or something else and do you have any suggestions on where to order the parts from? Part #s if possible. Thanks.

First 650 characters of this postHowdy! I have a Sony model #KP-46WT520. It has worked well since I had the "G" board reworked by Tri- State Module a couple of years ago. It would flash a code after I replaced the board but, since it never affected the operation of the unit, I ignored it and can't remember what it was. I checked the codes before posting this, it flashed a 10 and now it will only flash a 5. However, I don't think those have anything to do with my problem. My problem is that my local cable provider, Comcast, decided that we need a digital cable box to watch the Sci-Fi c

    Television TroubleshootingKP-46WT520 9 blinking lights on stand-by, help!m_photo112009-12-21 16:42
First 650 characters of this postHi! We have the KP-46WT520 purchased about 4 years ago.  It has always worked perfectly until just recently when we try to turn it on it either turns on or, more commonly, it blinks 9 times, then pauses and blinks 9 times on the stand-by light.  It is blinking red.  If you keep trying to turn it on it will eventually come on.  You hear an audible "click" and that's when it comes on.  I did the self-diagnose test and this is what it comes up with:2: +B   OCP    03: +B   OVP   &nb

First 650 characters of this postMy girlfriend's KP-46WT520 will not turn on.  Occasionally it will work, but for the most part it turns on and you can hear sound only for about 5 seconds with no picture before it shuts itself off.  After that the standby light repeats 10 blink patterns.  How can I fix this problem and what do the 10 blinks indicate?  We would prefer to not have service tech look at it because that costs $$$!  If anyone can help that would be very much appreciated! Thanks, Gray
Television TroubleshootingKP-46WT520 Screen turns red, then turns off, then 6 blinksspacecase42009-08-03 08:45
First 650 characters of this postHowdy, Screen of KP-46wt520 suddenly turned Red while watching a dvd. So I turned it off, unplugged it for a few minutes. At first the KP-46WT520 would turn on as soon as i plugged it in, then the screen would fade into a solid red, and then the T.V. would turn itself off in few seconds. While off (or standby), the led would blink six times. It does this every time I turn it on. I ran the self diagnoses that Claudio posted, (Display+Ch.5+Volume Down+Power)  but it is hard to read it in time before the T.V. shuts off. Here is what i think it showed; B+OCP
Television TroubleshootingCan I use my tv while in the service menu?lisalu52009-06-21 17:17
First 650 characters of this postHi EveryoneMy Sony kp-46wt520 's standby light flashes 9 times. I've searched your forums and found the way to access the service menu. Miraculously(to me), this helped the tv to turn on! I realize it gets the tv intothe service menu, and displays a bunch of numbers, but I'm thrilledthat I can acutally use the tv now. My question is, is it safe for me to use this way to turn the tv on? Everything seems to be working.
