If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Getting Started/Building a Home TheaterSony KP46C65 Cabinet Disassembly ?BruceAlan22012-05-01 19:00
First 650 characters of this postNeed to reduce the size/weight (bulk) of a Sony KP-46C65 RPTV, in order to transport it into a limited access space environment.   Goal is to disassemble the top/bottom halves of the unit and move them separately.Already have the lower rear perf-board cover, and the upper rear plastic cover (cabinet that houses the mirror assembly) removed.  Look slike the equipment needs some TLC maintenance (cleaning the mirror and 'gun' lenses, and replacing the display fresnel that has a major scratch in it), which I will do before reassembly.I need to know what

First 650 characters of this postHello. Great Sony Site!  I have a Sont 57" rear projection (FRAME: RA-6) that i am having problems with. I hope someone can lead me in the right direction to repair it. a couple of months ago i turned the tv on and the sound came right on but i had a black screen with very faint thin white horizontal lines. you would have to be right up on the screen to see them. after about 10-15 minutes the picture would start to come on but you would see half the picture and the other half would be (i hope i get the terminology right) pixelated color blocks. the picture would come on and off and e

First 650 characters of this postKP-46WT500 Sony HDTV (projection?) Blue flashes, then shutoff - 8 red blinks (Video included)Hey guys, My 50 inch HD Sony TV (I think it's a rear projection tv?) has begun flashing a blue color, then it shuts off followed by blinking red light on the front (it flashes 8 times). It happened about 4 or 5 months ago, then started working fine again, now it's back to doing it constantly. Every 2 or 3 minutes. I made a video of it that you can watch here:

First 650 characters of this postFirst of all, thanks of all of the information on this board.  After reading several threads on here, it seems that my TV needs the diodes replaced on the G-Board (A-1054-157-A). I've never soldered before and I'm not confident that I could do it myself, though this would be cheapest solution. I've called several TV Repair stores locally and tried to explain the problem, but they all want $75 to look at the problem and then give me an estimate.  I don't want to go that route either unless I need to. Replacing the G-Board seems like someth

First 650 characters of this postHowdy! I have a Sony model #KP-46WT520. It has worked well since I had the "G" board reworked by Tri- State Module a couple of years ago. It would flash a code after I replaced the board but, since it never affected the operation of the unit, I ignored it and can't remember what it was. I checked the codes before posting this, it flashed a 10 and now it will only flash a 5. However, I don't think those have anything to do with my problem. My problem is that my local cable provider, Comcast, decided that we need a digital cable box to watch the Sci-Fi c

First 650 characters of this postHave a Sony KP-46WT500, it's been great for 7/8 years. Only problem some blue retrace lines showed up about a year ago, I made a minor adjustment on the focus block, everything was ok.So a couple week a go all convergence registration goes out. TV comes on with no flashing codes, but auto focus moves nothing.I pull the G & D board, replace the 5a pico fuses on the G bd. (one was bad), and replace all 3.15A pico on the D bd. (all checked ok). Bought 2 Sanyo STK392-560, and replaced them. All solder joints seem good, and I believe everything is re-installed correctly.
