Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postSony KF-50WE610 is 5 years old. Lamp has been replaced 3 times. Now on turn on it blinks green 6 times, switches to blinking to red 6 times pauses 3 sec and repeats. By clicking the on button it goes back to blinking green then back to red and repeating this procedure it eventually latches on. This time period is taking longer now but still able to come on eventually. But my girl friend did this for 1/2 hour at one time and got to stay on.Can I get help before it blows up?

First 650 characters of this postJehill and all others with the \"6 red flash/blink problem\" with your KF-50WE610.  As noted above, I was going to forge ahead and try to replace only the thermal fuse.  Unfortuneately, and as referenced as a successful fix in another post, what I ordered from SONY was a thermostat (SONY Part # 157695111).  Upon disassembly of the set, I could not find the above mentioned thermostat in the set or any reference to it in the service manual (SONY Part #9-965-377-04).  I did find what appears to be the thermal fuse that others have mentioned (grey/white wire to b

First 650 characters of this postHi, I registered to add my experience with this issue. This forum/thread has been very helpful! My KF-50WE610 lamp went out on 08/06/2009. That's when I found out about the lamp door melting issue. I contacted Sony, they recommended a repair shop. The repair guy didn't think I would qualify for the replacement and said he would order parts to fix a small crack in the grey plastic below the lamp and a replacement lamp access door. A few days later I learned that Sony was going to exchange my TV.They first offered a new 52S5100 for $475. Thanks to the info here, I knew to refuse
