Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television TroubleshootingKDL52NX800 - EDID EEPROM Corrupted - Advice?ajacks50432012-08-13 16:07
First 650 characters of this postHello,A friend of mine's house got struck by lightning and it fried a couple piecesof electronics, one being his KDL52NX800.The TV still works and displays just fine, but none of theHDMI ports work anymore.  My guess isthat the EDID EEPROM got corrupted and nothing can “handshake” with the displayanymore.I’m planning to try this procedure with it so he doesn’t needa new BUHS board.https://sites.google.com/site/chrisbecke/home/edid-reprogramingSee

First 650 characters of this postToday, I've changed some second-hand CXA, but TV shuts down with err code 2.Tomorrow I'll put 3rd peace of CXA. First CXA worked, but there is problem with CHROMA.No chroma, only luma. And I will try to change C316/smd 220pF for APC FIL. Anybody knows how to turn off colorkiller cicuit in CXA for testing purposes? This forced off can be done only over I2C bus? Can I set registers in CXA via I2C interface and some kind of PC software? And do I need to reset eeprom after repair ? Another idea came. Maybe IF stage or tuner are drawing too much current. Also I wi

First 650 characters of this postOkay, thanks a bunch folks. Finally ordered a brand new one, hoping it works and it is not a refurbished card. First 650 characters of this postHello,it seems that there is a problem with the non-volatile memory. In contradiction to other sets, in this chassis the non-volatile memory (a well-known I2C serial EEPROM) is also \"shadowed\" in the Philips VIPER IC, which is the kernel chip of the N-board and is the most complex device of this TV.Also because this IC is a BGA-type (ball grid array), soldering of this device is only possible with special equipment. For this reason - and for the general complexity of the N-board - this board is subject to a special central board repair procedure by the factor
