Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television TroubleshootingKV-29C2E whith image appears / disappears cyclically.mbt_junkyard32013-09-18 16:12
First 650 characters of this post Normally the G2-voltage must be around 450 Volt. But because the picture tube is worn out after many years of faithful service, you need to raise the G2-voltage to obtain a kind of picture. Due to instability of the AKB-circuit the picture will go on and off sequentially. The only solution to solve this would be replacement of the picture tube.

First 650 characters of this post I recently purchases some SS M-7's and they just arrived !   I will be hooking them up to a DB 930.  I also purchased what I believe are the original stands.  I have on order, at Maxx's suggestion  these Furutech FP 3ST20 OCC Single Crystal Copper speaker cables with Furutech FP 201 UPOCC spade lugs .I have several questions:1)
Television TroubleshootingIs it possible to get ZERO input lag at 1080i on an XBR960?jameslieb112012-11-18 20:39
First 650 characters of this postI changed the service menu "HDPT" option to 0 so theoretically that should have gotten rid of all post-processing, therefore eliminating input lag, but I can still notice a little bit of input lag compared to an SD CRT, and I'm VERY sensitive to input lag, I have a hard time enjoying a game if it doesn't have zero input lag like an SD CRT. Anyway, when I first got my XBR960, besides changing the HDPT value to 0 I also fiddled around with some service menu values to try and improve focus, but didn't record what changes I made cause at th

First 650 characters of this postWelcome to Agoraquest!  The only blinking that is significant is repetitive blinking.  For the KV36FV300, 5 blinks, pause, 5 blinks, etc. means "IK (AKB)(white balance)" and the probable cause locations listed are as follows:1.  Video OUT (IC561) is faulty (A board)2.  IC702 is faulty (C board)3.  Screen (G2) is improperly adjusted. These are starting points for a qualified service technician/

First 650 characters of this postBonjour, when these sets display error 2, it is mostly caused by a defective RGB output amplifier. In this earlier reply I wrote you can find all information. If you want to have the manual, please let me know, then I'll put it on my downloadserver.(Please note that if you start the set without the connector in place, error 5 (AKB) will be displayed by the standby-LED after 30 seconds. This is a normal behaviour.)[ This message was edited by: mbt_j
Television TroubleshootingSony KV-36XBR450 turns on then shuts off and the StandBy light blinks 5 timesdlling42012-06-22 20:09
First 650 characters of this postI have a 2001 Sony KV-36XBR450 that turns on then shuts off and the Stand by light blinks 5 times.  I does turn on from time to time and will stay on for a while.  Did some research and downloaded the service manual. Checked the Self Diag Display and it reported an #5 AKB Error with a 1.  Instructions for this check came from the service manual. Service manual says IC9001-IC9003 (C board) bad or IC2001 (A board) bad or G2 needs adjusing. Can I replace the IC's or need to do the whole board?  Where do I get the parts?
