Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television TroubleshootingSony KP-53S25 horizontal linesVette96drvr22008-11-08 18:55
First 650 characters of this postI have just gotten a Sony KP-53S25 rear projection tv.  There are 2 horizontal lines in the center 1/3 of the screen.  The standby light is blinking 3 times for the diagnostic code.  Does anyone know what that code means, and is it simple (I am not the least bit electronically competent)  and inexpensive to repair?Any help is appreciated.Thank you

First 650 characters of this postI have a Sony KP-53S25 that when plugged in the standby light continuosly flashes.  I notice that when it is plugged in that the two relays on the powersupply board momentarily energize.  I notice that on the board to the right of the power supply board that there is a neon light that flashes for a split second when the relays click.  When I push the power button on the front, the set does nothing, and the standby light quits blinking.  When I hit the power button again, the standby light flashes about 31 times before turning off.  Can anyone point me in a good directi

First 650 characters of this postI have a Sony KP-53S25 rear projection TV. It\'s about 5 or 6 years old and we just bought it from my in-laws. Brought it home and set it up. I needed to manually adjust the convergence, but then the picture was fine. It was a little cloudy, but clear. Now it\'s been a few weeks and today it suddenly went goofy. It looks like the convergence is all messed up again and the top and bottom of the screen are curved (concave?) and distorted looking. Can anyone tell me if this points at a particular problem? I would appreciate any help.

First 650 characters of this postThe picture is clear and colors are ok, but the bottom is cut off. I have read the calibration guides on this site, and know I need the magic codes for this model or equivalent. Then I could stand a chance of adjusting the VPOS, if I knew what code it was when I crack into the service mode. The remote is the same for the following models, so would the codes be the same also?
