Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postJehill, I took this afternoom to try doing a better service but as you will see there are 2 solder points on IC8501 that are damaged. I was able to track the pcb trace and solder. Using a multimeter I was able to confirm the solder is in the right place as it was conducting to the right place.I was wondering about Pins 8 and 9. They seem to be in contact according to the multimeter. But they don't seem to be on the service manual. This is really odd. This happens in both ICs.This is how the pins look without the socket inserted:

First 650 characters of this postHello Maxx, jttar, and everyone...   There are a few of these vintage decks floating about for sale. Does anyone know what the suffix "A" letter means? Also, I (not sure at all) seem remembering reading reviews comparing this particular deck's build quality and performance to the standard non-ES line of decks. I could be very wrong on the memory part, if anyone has owned one of these, or at least knows the letter A's meaning, please do reply.

First 650 characters of this postyou could look up what your local consumer laws say, in some countries the laws say a TV has a life of 10 years. If that is the case you may be able to pursade Sony to repair or offer you an alternate replacement. In some case they may offer a cash discount off a current model. There is no harm lookimg and seeing what is applicable there in California.
