Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

The pink color has now been resolved but now I have a negative picture with ghosts. The picture is undeterminable and white. Audio is OK. Any suggestions as to how to resolve the negative picture issue. Thanks.
    Television TroubleshootingSony KP53HS10 Flyback & IC replacementPlayDoh22008-01-22 14:34
First 650 characters of this postHi everyone, I just got a Sony KP53HS10 donation, along with a Flyback replacement since, according to advice he got was the problem. However it was displaying a 5 blink code.I, the fool, replaced the Flyback which I now figure is simple the wrong flyback. It has 3 wires coming from it (Black, White, and a large red) however the OEM part has only 2 red wires. Now I'm thinking its the "IC"'s (3?). I've only had 2 days at this TV, and I'm no TV tech obviously but I'm good with an Iron. I've read a few posts on the issue, and hopefully some of you can give me some po

First 650 characters of this postI have an older Sony KP-53HS10 that has been excellent over the last seven years. I experienced a slight problem the other day when I wanted  to view some photos taken with a digital camera. I used video 2 from thefront of the TV  for the source and part way through viewing the photos they became somewhat blurry. Regular TV viewing using cable produced the same results however when viewing TV through Video 5 where I input the signal from a digital HD box the picture is fine. The picture is also fine from Video 4 but is blurry through Video 1.  Any thoughts on what

First 650 characters of this postJehill,Thanks for the welcome and your quick response. First 650 characters of this post My KP53HS10 is approx 9 years old and it has worked like a charm until recently. The picture began to fade into a cloud of pink until the whole screen was just a pink wash. The stand by diagnostic showed a repeated 5 flash sequence. I have repeately turned it on and off with no change to the stand by indicator but the screen has progressively changes to a purple/dark red color. No picture is visible and I am unable to activate the screen menu or other screen/remote settings. I am able to rece

First 650 characters of this postI just ran into similar problem with the same KP53HS10 set. Could you tell me what a click and then 6 red blinks would indicate? The set will not turn on. I\'ve had it serviced under warranty, but this set was manufactured in 2000; so, I\'m curious as to what might be the damage!?!?  Thanks![ This message was edited by: mcalahan on 2007-08-05 00:05 ]
Television Misc and NewsPossible to add an external subwoofer to a 53HS10?dpaanlka12007-07-26 21:01
First 650 characters of this postHi. I don\'t know much about how this TV I have works, but its a Sony 53HS10, and I was wondering if it was possible to add only an external subwoofer to the TV, so that I could use it to play music loudly at a relatively satisfactory quality. I don\'t have much money so that\'s pretty much the ideal solution for me.[ This message was edited by: dpaanlka on 2007-07-26 21:02 ]

First 650 characters of this postThe timer/standby light on my KP-53HS10 flashes six times when I turn the TV on. The picture on the DTV input (input #5) looks perfect, but all other inputs (Video 1, Video 2, ... and the TV Tuner) I see what appear to be \"white streaks\" flashing around. These streaks are most noticable when the screen goes completely black.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

First 650 characters of this postOn the Sony STRD-930 amp, if I have my Sony 5 disc DVD carousel hooked up with coxial cable to amp for sound, and component direct to Sony TV, can I hook up a Sony DVD recorder as well?  I could use Video 4 on my kp53hs10 tv, but how would I hook up sound on my amplifier?

First 650 characters of this postI had the continuous LED blink issue with my KP53HS10. Had a tech come out and he couldn\'t figure out the problem. Suggested to rip out the chassis to send to a lab for repairs at about $800. Rather just buy a new set.I\'m told the projection lights fetch a fair price. Anyone interested or can can advise me how I could sell the components?Thx.

First 650 characters of this postDuaneandbev,The KP-53HS10 is capable of receiving 1080i, 480p, and 480i TV formats. Also note that this unit is not capable of receiving or displaying a 720p format signal. I would take a look at the cable box output settings and be sure that it\'s set to output at 1080i and not a progressive 720p format.Toli[addsig]

First 650 characters of this postI have a 57\" that was doing something similar to yours. Mine started with a green tint and faded to a solid green. After that it turned off. I managed to find a service manual for mine. They have one for yours too. https://www.vancebaldwin.com/shop/research_new/son/Kp53hs10.pdf#search=%22kv27fs100%20light%20flashes%22 I hope this helps you some. If you are comfortable with opening the back of the TV up, you could do a visual inspection to check for loose connection
