I just got delivery of a:
    - KF-50SX200 (European equivalent to the US KF-50XBR800)
    - DAV-S880
    - SLV-SE820 (a Sony VCR)

Does any know how to connect these 3 devices? And what about the antenna?

    Thanks for your help!

This is a long answer - maybe you could tell us what you currently have set and well finish the rest for you ?

    Basically:

    Antenna to VCR
VCR Video & Audio Out to TV Video1

DAV Component Video (3 RCA cords) Out to DVD Input in TV - or you could use SVideo out of the DAV to the SVideo In on the TV.

This should do most of it ?
Let us know how you go.

    Hi there,

I currently did my set-up as follows:

    Antenna to VCR

VCR Video & Audio Out to TV Video1.
The picture quality is not so good this way.

    DAV-S880:
DAV Component Video (3 RCA cords) I don't think is usable because the TV hasn't got component in. I tried DAV video-out to TV AV-scart, but this gives a poor picture. S-video OUT to S-video IN gives the best picture, however it's a pity that this connecting is on the side of the TV and not on the back.

    Merry Christmas.

Ahhh - SCART I dont know anything about them sorry !

But SVideo is a great quality connection and should work well - it is strange that there is no SVideo on the back of the TV......

The poor quality of the VCR picture must be a result of the aerial or VCR tuning - once you hook it up to Video1 on the TV it should be a direct tranfer.

If you are still having troubles let us know what you mean by 'poor picture'.
