    I have settled on buying the 34xbr800 and have already purchased an entertainment center. With this tv weighing just over 200 lbs, I don't want to have to move it very often. If I plug in all the cables and set the tv in place, when would I have to get to the rear of the tv? Where are the picture adustments made? Thanks for your comments.

    I don't have this particular TV but I am planning on purchasing it in a few months. Currently I have a 27" Wega that is no where
    as nice as the KV-35XBR800 but has similar picture controls. All picture controls are
    accessed via the remote and are on screen.
    The rear of my TV doesn't have any controls (not even to turn off the speakers). I can do
    that with the remote.

    The previous post is correct. All adjustments are done from the remote. Your biggest concern should be your hookups to other AV components. Once the TV in in place, changing your cables could cause a hernia!
