Where can I purchase a remanufactured optical block for a KDF-55WF655? I am going to attempt to replace my own optical block. Thank you    Stan

Welcome to Agoraquest!  I suspect that your only source is Sony, because only they have the clean room facilities needed to refurbish and calibrate them.  The KDF-55WF655 optical block part number is A1084662A.  You may purchase it for $885.29 at http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/ecom/accessories/web/productSearch.do. Use the Part or Accessory Number search to locate the part.  You might try calling them to see if you can get credit for your existing optical block if you ship it to them.

That model is covered under the Sony extended warranty for blue dot, blob and roadmapping issues. If that is why you need to change the OB, Sony will replace it at no cost to you. See the extended warranty onfo at sony.com

Never try to repair a Digital TV yourself, only despair results from that.
