Don't know if I'm on the right forum to ask this.
I own a SONY VAIO PC but this question could be applied to other PC's as well.
I had an after market display card installed and use an S-Video cable from my PC to a 27" TV which works great. The question is, what would I have to do to run this cable (correctly) to a VCR. I have tried the S-Video cable connected to an RCA adapter with some videos and it works but color video does not work properly (black and white results). I am also unable to get the audio to sync. Is there a way to make this work? I have seen VGA cables with both S-Video & RCA type connectors attached. I've read that these cables will only work if PC display card has TV out functionality.
Thanks for any assistance,
