I bought a Sony KF50XBR800 3 weeks ago. It has developed dead pixels everywhere. This model is discontinued so the store where I bought it cant replace it. They want to give me a Sony KF50WE610. I looked at the spec's and all seems to be very close. Is this a good deal? Are these about the same? Am I gaining or losing? Anyone know the difference?

I would take a look at what the KDF-60XBR950 in the cost in up-grading from the 50XBR800. I would not go to the WE's for Sony has been having buzzing problems and the sets not turning on. Thats not saying the 60XBR950's don't have problems.
I have on order the big brother of the 60XBR950 I am waiting for my 70XBR950 to come in about Feb. 18th, but that date may come and go since Sony is not filling any orders until they fix the buzzing and other problem with the LCD's line.
