I'm an old school, physical media type of guy. Just started to get rid of my collection of recorded beta and vhs tapes. Laser disc will be next to go. Truth be told, I've been watching most of my HD movies via cable (HBO, Showtime, etc.). Click here for more information.

well I fall into the majority bought bluray but from the stats I think the cable companies may soon be in some trouble.

1. Satellite, I get most of the Premiums. 2. Red Box. 3. Blu Rays, I usually buy the discounted ones.

My main source would be HBO, Showtime, Starz etc. I get all the premium channels. Next would be discounted Blu Ray movies from Amazon.

Blu-rays on sale at Amazon.com. But I'm trying to cut down on blind buys based on rave reviews because some of the critically-lavished movies aren't that good to me.

I'm also old school and therefore very used to physical media. When I finally got rid of my VHS collection I slowed down significantly on collecting movies on physical media. I had by that point bought a fair number of DVDs but at that point began to consider that, for me, how superfluous and wasteful it had become. I haven't gone to BluRay yet for that reason and because I haven't made a decision on 3D as of yet either. I don't know if it's something that'll be worthwhile for me.
My movie sources are
1)Premium cable channels. (HBO, Starz etc. we have them all)
2) RedBox
3) On Demand
4)DVDs from my collection
