I just aquired a KDF55XS955.  A friend told me that it is not good to play videogames on this type of rear projection television.  I would like to play my PS-2 on it.  I doubt what he said but would like to hear it from someone who knows what he/she is talking about.

Thanks in advance

David

sroford,

I don't know where your friend got his information, but that's just not correct for a LCD or LCD rear porojection TV. His thinking Could be a concern for a CRT, rear projection CRT or a plasma, because of the risk of static image burn-in.

sroford,

Your  KDF55XS955 is perfect for playing your PS-2 games. As Toli pointed out burn-in is not a issue on the LCD. Enjoy your "new" TV and your PS-2!
