it's got the SiS motherboard.

when i bought the computer i had to take my ethernet card out of my old computer and put it into my new one for networking and internet connection purposes.

i'm not too good with computers, but when i opened the case to install the ethernet card, i noticed there aren't many available slots.

i'd like to upgrade the sound and the video (looking at soundblaster live or turtle beach montego for sound and a geforce4 MX).

is it possible to add those to my computer? will they fit? and what will happen to my integrated audio/video (will the computer just start overlooking them?)

or am i screwed and stuck with my integrated audio/video?

my computer did come with the integrated ethernet. i had to install a second one because i use my computer as the server in my home network and needed to do so for internet sharing etc..

to open the case, pull off the top cover first. then inside on the side of the case near the top you'll find a piece of metal that runs along the side of the computer. pull or push (can't remember) on the part that is exposed and the side of the computer will pop open.

Yes you can upgrade the geforce4 MX takes up an AGP Expansion slot which you have one of and the sound blaster takes up one of the three PCI slots you have. this ones cool ( http://www.soundblaster.com/products/platinum5.1/ ) the modem takes up a CPI slot also and you 2nd networking card might as well so ifyou want to place something else you might have to take out that pestkie modem. hope this helps
