Wide Mode on KV-DR29 |

Hello all,
My Sony Wega KV-DR29 suffered a memory chip failure during the warranty period (around a month back). The service engineer after a long time of struggle was able to bring it back to its feet by manually writing all service mode values into it.
However I recently noticed that the "Wide Mode" of the TV is not working (meaning it makes no change to picture). It used to work earlier (before the memory chip failure) so it must be some "on/off" setting in service mode.
Does anyone here knows which of the service mode setting controls the wide mode being ON or OFF or is it more complex than that?
I AM FULLY AWARE of how complicated service mode is but if its just a matter of toggling some setting, I might want to try it (with the PDF file on SONY service mode from the download section of this site being a over all guide in the process)
