I have had my kds50A2000 for about 6 months, I use it in conjunction with my PS3 to web surf. just recently when viewing a white page, I noticed the screen subtley gets brighter and darker. This is a very slight event, most people probably wouldnt perceive it. As if a ghost was playing with my whie level. Is this a natural symtom of lamp wear or a problem?

This may be a symptom of a problem developing in the optical assembly.  If so, the problem may get worse and develop into one of the common problems that may be covered by the warranty.

What you see may or may not get worse.  If it appears "perfect" as you say, why worry about it?
