Hello,

the MBT-MRL1 is the media box for this screen sold in continental Europe, there is also a digital variant MBD-MRL1.

If you can manage to buy a MBT-MR1 (which is originally for the plasma panels PDM-4200 and PDM-5000 and does not work on a LDM-3000), you can send me an email on tv@techie.com .

Regards,

Bora.

Hello,

the blinking orange LED is indicating "CABLE ERROR". As you has no cable connected, this is the normal behaviour, so you don't have to worry at this point.

Only the special Sony cable is usable. There are two connectors on both devices. One is a standard DVI connector (for video signals) and the other is a special proprietary connector (for sound and system control). To use the set, both connectors have to be used.

There are two lenghts available: the standard delivered 3 meter cable and the accesoire cable which is 10 meter of lenght. When using the latter, it's important to watch the markings on the cable. Both sides are marked with the device the end has to be connected to. If the cable is connected the wrong way, picture quality can become worse.

I'll check the partnumbers of the both cables and post it here tomorrow.

Regards,

Bora.

Hello,

the standard cable VMC-P3 is obtainable under partnumber 1-824-831-12, the 10-meter version VMC-P10 under partnumber 9-382-731-1.

Please anticipate that these cables won´t be cheap! Due to the complexity of the cable structure, it´s nearly impossible to manufacture such a cable "at home".

Regards,

Bora.
