Have installed Creative Soundblaster Audigy in my Sony PCV RZ 22G. Computer sounds work normally, but I get no sound from Giga Pocket TV. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have the exact problem with my PCV-RZ34G. I installed an Audigy Platinum eX and have no Giga Pocket sound. It records the sound, and I can hear it when watching something I recorded, but actual TV is silent. I have already disabled the SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio in the Device Manager, but still no sound. Someone with any other ideas?

Well, I got around it. I put speakers in the original onboard port, and it worked. Having the Audigy, I use a 5.1 surround speaker set with it. So I'm just going to use the speakers and woofer that came with the PC in the original slot for Giga Pocket only and the 5.1 set in the audigy for everything else. Works for me.

I had the same problem. The solution is a jumper JSC to ATAPI from the TV card to sound blaster Aux. Make sure your Aux line is off mute b4 play back!! Works like a charm now!!

I have no sound on live TV using giga pocket on a RS530G. I do get sound on recordings. I once did have sound when the computer was new so I must have installed something that caused this. The other posts do not help me solve my problem. Any help appreciated.

Now I understand the post on AUX. Went to http://129.33.22.8/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=819,E=0000000000263257494,K=7406,Sxi=3,Case=obj(89776),UseTemplate=Case.tem
to get the explanation.

I am having the exact same problem!!

I have an M-Audio Audiophille 2496

I am going to try the onboard bobbins sound card to see if I am getting anything out of that. I can't seem to find any settings / config anywhere in GigaPocket to specify the sound card to use!

There is a possible solution here:

http://129.33.22.8/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=760,E=0000000000322417005,K=2209,Sxi=2,Case=obj(89776),UseTemplate=Case.tem

Apparently, the giga pocket card will only work with the on board sound card! C'mon Sony, that is terrible!

Same problem, PCVRS 430G, I can record fine and then I will hear audio with out a problem, just while recording, and while watching I hear absolutely nothing. Sony really needs to step up with their customer service, the people you call sound like recorded messages! stupid computers.
