THE WALKING DEAD---Pollyanna McIntosh said a fan theory that the zombie series is a coma dream of Rick Grimes is not true, "I’ve heard some great theories. I even had a theory from a fan the other day that it was a blood type, which is a very cool one. They had this idea that Rick’s been having a dream this whole time and that we’re paramedics asking him if he’s an A or a B for his blood type, isn’t that cool?"
She added, "And that really it’s just us standing over him and he’s created this whole coma dream. Which of course would be very DALLAS, and [Robert] Kirkman has already said that’s not the plan, so I can safely say that without ruining anything."

DOCTOR WHO---Season 11 with Jodie Whitaker had the highest series ratings since Season 10.

TRAITORS---Netflix six-part miniseries set in 1945 where a female British civil servant agrees to work for US intelligence and spy on England to prevent the government from drifting towards the Soviet Union.

He added, “It’s a real WWII jeep, so you’ve got to, like, press the thing, put it in neutral … I don’t know how to drive. And I just say my line, and I’m supposed to look really heroic.
So I’m so nervous. There’s like 200 extras. So I drive, I hit my spot. I go, ‘Good luck, boys, and I forget to press the clutch, and these two dudes are pushing the car, and the wheels aren’t moving because the clutch isn’t in.
I don’t know how they made it work, but they made it work.”

THE WALKING DEAD---AMC released a synopsis for Season 9's return and artwork of Samantha Morton as Alpha, the leader of the Whisperers.

"The second half of “The Walking Dead” Season 9 finds our groups of survivors, both old and new, continuing to deal with the impact of events that took place during the six years that have passed. Since the disappearance of Rick, many of these characters have become strangers to each other, and in some ways, strangers to themselves. What they do know is that they are in undeniable danger. They will soon realize the world just beyond does not operate as they thought. The group’s rules and ways of survival no longer guarantee their safety. A whole new threat has crossed their paths, and they soon discover it’s unlike any threat they have encountered or endured before. The group will start to question what they think they see. What may appear to be normal in this post-apocalyptic world could actually be more disturbing and terrifying than when the apocalypse first broke out. All that is certain is the stakes are high and numerous."

DIE HARD 6---director Len Wiseman said the sequel will have a young John McClane meeting Holly McClane while he is working on a big case, and the present day McClane is working on the consequences of the original case. Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventure commented on Holly returning, "I’m surprised Len has given that out. I would rather not [talk about Holly]. Maybe this is a way to answer it without answering that specifically. Part of what McClane is to get to know the mythology before the movies started. So that’s where we’re going to meet characters that we may know from before."

THE TERROR---George Takei will co-star and be a consultant in Season 2 of the AMC horror series set in a Japanese internment camp and the Pacific Theater during World War II.

VENOM---Todd McFarlane blamed ageing critics for the movie's poor reviews, "… the critics get it wrong in that they forget their age. They come in, and they’re 42 years old, and they come in with their attitude and they’re going, ‘Stop it.’ What if you were 16, 15, and you were watching this movie? You would love it… Of course you would love it. This thing delivered everything it was supposed to. It was gnarly, it was nasty, it has a big cool Venom, which was what I was looking for. [That] was my bias – I just wanted to see the visualness of Venom that I had created 30 years prior.”

LUTHER---creator Neil Cross said a theatrical movie is underway based on the BBC series starring Idris Elba, “It will be more murder, more Volvos, more frowning Luther… essentially we just want to try to take it to a much bigger audience and scale, and perhaps international as well.”

MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE---Brigitte Nielsen had a cameo in CREED II, and said she wants to follow it by being a Marvel villain, "I want to scream out to everybody, 'I am part of the Marvel universe!' I love the Marvel characters and I want to be back."
She added, "I see myself in another Marvel story playing the villain where I can just kick butt and just totally scare the crap out of all of you. But I'll take anything. I feel like there's a lot of excitement with a villain. You can go many, many places. If you're the good person, you better be good. It's good to be bad."

RASHOMON---Amblin Television 10-part miniseries underway based on the classic 1950 Akira Kurosawa movie is underway.

A NAKED SINGULARITY---John Boyega is in talks to star in this movie based on the novel about a cynical public defender.

Weyland-Yutani's private military spacecraft then drop the larvae on a Weyland-Yutani colony, killing the colonists. It concludes with, "Day 6: It’s a nightmare. A QUIET PLACE 2---John Krasinski commented on the sequel, “The beauty of it is that it’s the expansion of a world. Most sequels are about the return of a villain or a hero, and you have to build a totally new story around your favorite hero or favorite villain. [With this sequel], we actually have the world to deal with. The world is actually the star of the movie. So, this set of circumstances – how the rest of the world is dealing with this apocalyptic tragedy – is the fun of it then. That’s what drew me back.”
He added, “So here I am now writing it and we’ll see if I end up directing it. But it’s an entertaining idea because I think for me, the cool part about this is, that it doesn’t feel like a sequel.”
