This is a step by step pictorial of the events surrounding the placement of a SONY KDF-55XS955. A gas fireplace was also in the offing so, as expected, there was some last minute "fine-tuning" associated with placement. Significant WifeFactor at play too. But, after some patience, a little help from my friends and some technical expertise, all was in readiness.

Technical connections (note high-tech patented piece of wood under receiver. allows for angled access to connection points).

Thanks for the step by step setup of your fantastic TV and system. The HD fireplace fits nicely in the corner but perhaps you could explain how in the hell Santa's coming down that baby. I sure hope you have an SD fireplace a well.   Thanks for sharing your setup with us.

The fireplace looks terrific! Definitely a high WAF and I'm sure a lot warmer than it's predecessor. Your living room has undergone some dramatic changes for the better. Thanks for the updated pictures.
