Those ceiling speakers will be great for "fly overs" like in the movie Pearl Harbor. If you need any help posting or hosting the pictures I will be happy to help.

Great setup.  Does the component rack have a backing or is it open for cooling?

MKAH,
I'll add my thumbs up as well. WAY KEWL peice of furniture.  PLUS you got to work with your grandfather to make it yourself, so there are memories built up in this piece as well as being a great place for your home theater.

That is a beautiful piece of woodwork. Amazing.

I would build some speaker stands for the sides to match..just to raise them off the floor. That would really help with tightening up your midbass and midrange as well as help them get closer to ear level. Just make sure you massload your stands if you do intend on building stands.
