On VPL-X1000  &  VPL-PX32  the service mode is "enter enter up down enter"

Hey shuky63

I think that's not a convergence problem, is it like a shadow on the image? If yes I'm able to help you

I have a VPL-CS5 that shows a thin shadow to the left. Black objects have a green shadow, white objects project whitish shadows. On clear background there is always a 8pixel green shadow at te right border.

Can this be fixed cheaply? Even if it is not a permament fix.

Hello there, I also have the VPL-CS5 projector with the same problem. Every image has a ghost with an approx. 8 pixels offset to the left. But I don't think it's a convergence problem with some tests I made with it.

I created a sequence in Flash with three identical squares; red, green and blue. All three at the exact same coordinates. I've found that the green square doesn't really appear to be with an offset. I'll post some pics of what it looks like, they are a simulation because when I was testing I didn't have a proper camera with me. I'll be posting real pics later. Maybe it really is a convergence problem but I'm not sure.

Does anybody here have a similar problem? I HAVE THE SERVICE MANUAL for the vpl-cs5 and vpl-cx5, how to dissasemble and whatnot. Here are the links to the three compressed files, download them to the same folder then unrar them. (my free web host only let's me upload 2 mb files, sorry about that).

I found another person who uploaded it to his server, maybe it's easier from here:
