Digital to analog converter for multi channel HDMI cable output from Sony SACD player

I am still thinking about purchasing a Sony 5400ES SACD player but first I need to find a means of getting it's digital multi channel output via HDMI converted to multi channel analog or optical s/pdif. Anyone here know of such a device?

What are you planning to connect the output of such a device to? Most recent Sony model receivers that include PREOUTS will fit the bill.

If I get a device with an optical S/PDIF running at 24/96 the device output will go to TA-E9000ES DVD input. If the device has analog output, output will go to TA-P9000ES input.

There used to be a device which stripped the audio from HDMI and outputted it as analogue audio through 3 3.5mm stereo jacks - it was reported to sound fantastic.

All I remember is that the device model number began with "CLUX".
