Hello,

Does anyone know of anyway to get the side wooden panels for ES CD players like the CDP-X707ES fixed?

How about getting the metal faces or top fixed i.e. getting the scratches out of them?

I'd buy the parts but they're not available, unless someone knows a place for that.

Thanks alot!

We all are looking for these side panels, let us know! I need a pair for my DB930 receiver. I can give dimensions to see if they will fit or not.

Hey, I was the first to ask!

Who is this who tried to hijack my request!

Wow!  You know manners go a long way!

I'm looking for the side panels for a Sony CD-R1 and Das1, X707ES, X777ES, and a few others, including a really nice Aiwa XK9000s Cassette deck.

There are more I need.

Do you have any of the buttons and such for a Nak and Yamaha Cassette deck?

Hi,

It is important that you not only check the dimensions of the side panels because the number of screwing holes and their exact location differ...

Check Gerchy´s georgous site www.sony-es.com for some fitting examples!

A person could make their own out of real wood pretty easy using their old damaged ones as a template.

Hi,

The difficulty is when you have other units where the side panels are original because then it quite easy to see which is made by yourself...

Best Regards

Just finished these up last nite out of Cocobolo (mexican) rosewood. They are still in the rough stage but couldn't resist taking some pics. I will be sanding next & then countersink the screw heads as well...enjoy!
