I have followed your instructions explicitly.  Some of the videos that I place in the folder do not play on my 55HX800.  Some do.  The ones that don't aren't even recognized by the TV; and the format of the videos are IDENTICAL to those that do get recognized.  Any ideas?

BTW John; I am using Sony's "Vegas Movie Studio Platinum" version 9.0 (current) to produce the videos as MPEG-2 formatted videos.  Format is:
MainConcept MPEG-2
Audo 224Kpbs, 48,000 Hz Layer 2
Video 29.97 fps, 720x480
NTSC DVD-Compliant video stream and an MPEG layer 2 audio Stream.
