Just got mine yesterday, upgraded from a modded 710c(rom upgraded to a 760c). I am really impressed with this unit! Only thing is that it reads pics and movie files off the memorystick slow. I'm sure there will be a fix later.

I got one yesterday .. very fancy, but I am experiencing problems to properly sync all my outlook contacts and calender
It probably is a software thing .. events that are longer than one day appear multiple times on each day and contact information is not properly translated to the palm format ..

anybody got an idea how to fix this ??

Question: wireless connectivity on these is through Sony's $150 proprietary compactflash network card right? Is tehre any way to use a $50 compactflash network card from another company? And what about the bluetooth memory sticks? Any ideas/links would be greatly appreciated!

Only the SONY Wireless CF Card can be used officailly.
Rumours are afoot that a hack is available to use standard CF Cards ( 1 Gb Storage !!! ) , but I dont know where to find this.
The Bluetooth Memory Stick PCGA-MSB1 is a nice piece of gear, it comes with Connection manager software for GSM and GPRS.
also if you have a VAIO with Sony bluespace installed, SYNCHRONIZATION is seamless and easy.
Recomend checking out PCGA-BA1 - USB bluetooth Adaptor for PC !!!!

Check out www.eruware.com. They have developed a driver to use other manufacturers CF cards on the NR/NX/NZ series Clie.

Not affiliated, just a satisified user.

I got a second hand Clie NX70V yesterday but it didn't come with the installation CD. Then I realized that it's impossible to download the Palm Desktop for Clie (not the update file) and other applications like Documents to Go vs. And I heard that Sony sells the CD for $70!!! Can anyone give an advise on this??? I know that Desktop software is obligatory, what are the other softwares that comes with the CD which has to be installed on the PC???

Thank You,
