I Googleed MMDL914T1 and found several sources of that part.  Its surface mounted.  Have you located the chip?  What is the complete model number of your set?

Thanks for the quick response. My TV model number is KP-57WS520. I am looking for parts corresponding to D6116 and D6301 on the G-Board of course. I couldn't find the equivalents online. I will appreciate if you give me a few links.

Many Thanks.

When I asked you if you had located the parts, I meant have you physically located them on the G board?  You should be able to come up with links yourself by Googling 10ERB20-TB6 for D6301 and MMDL914T1 for D6116.  If you can't locate the items at the sites, call the toll free number for assistance.

I seem to be having a lot of trouble trying to find the diode D6116.

I have searched many of the site listed in previous threads and it seems the part has been discontinued. I have also searched many of the suggested substitute parts.

Any advice?

Have you tried re-soldering the two diodes?  Quite often that is all that it takes.

Hmmm. I will get my brother-in-law in to look at it. Guess it can't hurt trying since it was a free television.

Very helpful thread. My KP-51WS520 crapped out this past weekend (9 blinks on standby). I was going to scrap it and join everyone in 2012 and get a flat panel.  Figure I had nothing to lose and I found this information.

I located diode D6301 from the pictures provided and just resoldered.  Fired up this CRT and it was good as new!  My electronic skills consist of a semester of  electronics back in high school over 20 years ago......

DIY fixes are the best!  Saved me from buying a new TV.

I I turn on my Sony KP-51WS520 Television on. No picture, no sound, 3 blinking Stand-by lights, and then it turns off. Any thoughts?

Welcome to Agoraquest!  For the KP51WS520, 3 blinks, pause, 3 blinks, etc. means "+B Overvoltage (OVP)" and the probable cause location listed is "IC6503 is faulty (D board)".

This is the starting point for a qualified service technician.
