Hi All, I have just purchased a Sony DCR-DVD608E camera. I have been looking to find out if the Memery Stick Duo is the same as a standard SD digital card.

From my reading of the manual it appears that the Memory Stick Duo is used to store still images.

I have a "spare" SD card from another camera and would like to use it in this camera if possable.

Thanks in Advance

wonder_man,

Although they perform basically the same function, a SD card won't fit in a Memory Stick Duo slot. You will need a Memory Stick Duo. It doesn't necessarily have to be Sony brand, but they usually have better results. Really good deals can be found on www.ebaY.com and www.amazon.com.
