Wow.  I was debating what new receiver to purchase with my Sony card points I had accumulated, but now I've changed gears completely!

Sony's 2nd release of the Alpha based DSLR from their purchased Minolta assets.  This looks pretty dang cool!

Body only: $1400
DT 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 High Magnification Zoom Lens
SAL-18250  $550

Vertical Grip VG-C70AM  $350

That pretty much uses up my points, but man this looks cool!

schmecky,

The DSLR-A700 is one cool camera, I really like it. If I ever get deeper into digital photography, I will look at a Sony camera that is like this, depending on when and if this happens. For now my little DSC-T1 does a fine job. Although, I really don't use it very often.

I agree. I'm going to sell my A100 to get the A700.

Here is my personal file on the A700. You can use it to find all the documentation tou need.

KCAir,

Is there anyway for one to access this information without signing up on that website?
