my sony ccd-tr71 camcorder wont

my sony ccd-tr71 camcorder wont accept a tape, old or new. it just
 shows me a no tape icon.What to do ?

hawaiian- Welcome to Agoraquest. I have read that a part being either bent or in some cases dislodged, can cause this problem. It's sounds like your camera may require service.
