My friend has a KV27FS something, and his looks like crud on digital cable. My GF has a 25" 7 year old RCA hooked up to Bell ExpressVu (sat.), and it looks sweeet! I've wondered what the analog to digital cable thing would do myself. I've always thought that since sat. isn't running through miles of...

I've asked for this one

I've asked for this one for Christmas, this is the first I've head of anyone else actually knowing what it was. Is it set to music or narration? I've only seen it on XBR demos in stores with the sound off.

Just unwrapped my DVPNS300S from

Just unwrapped my DVPNS300S from my girlfriend, (gotta love her!!) and it plays all the DVDs I've tried except Speed. I get a C13 error, says dirty disc, even though I just opened it last night. I tried to calibrate the player, but as you may know, my rmote doesn't have #s on it. Any suggestions?? I...

Well, I tried like 10

Well, I tried like 10 other discs, which all worked fine, but Speed has like a funny dimple on part of the playing surface which messes up its reflection. I guess the laser must hate that.. So I guess it's just a bad disc. But if anyone can tell me how to nav the menus that would be cool.

M...

The first 2 are really important to me, so if you can, please answer them, I'd appreciate it.
I've oticed that a lo...

I just found out that changing JPSW from a 0 to a 1 also changes VUSN to a 1 as well. So it looks like they may both do the same thing.. That doesn't make senc though. Can anyone offer any info? Thanks. Hope someone can help me here..

KV24FV12....My fault, sorry! Hope that

KV24FV12....My fault, sorry! Hope that helps you to give me some info. I've been using it for the last day and the difference in clarity is huge! I really am sure I've found the right thing for 16:9. As long as the 16:9 mode isn't on all the time, doing all this won't harm the set will it?
