About that site; it has

About that site; it has an article that indicates the procedure for 'calibrating' a DVD player. What does this do and why would you want to?

Thanks!

Here in (at least, maybe

Here in (at least, maybe you do too) Canada we have a magazine that's free at The Sony Store (you have those, right??) called evolve. It's a nice bound catalogue that comes out quarterly I think, starting with the Spring 2001 issue. It's really comprehensive and has tons of info on (I think) EVERYTH...

They only mention the website

They only mention the website sonystyle.ca in the book itself, but I don't see it anywhere online. There's a Sony Style magazine on their site, but that's not the evolve catalog.

This thing's the size of a magazine high and wide, and it's about 160 pages. It's divided into 4 sections, with ...

I'm withing a short amount

I'm withing a short amount of time from getting the KV24FV12, and I was wondering if there are any items you can buy that will allow you to switch between audio sources going into a TV.

I will have one S-Video in, a composite video in on the front and back, with L/R audio in on the back of ...

Ahh, I see. I'll see

Ahh, I see. I'll see what they are at radio shack. If there's any degradation, it'll only be audio and not video, so I'm less likely to notice. I might go for the cheapo one since I'm going to be getting a reciever eventually anyway. Or I might even just leave them plugged into the TV and move them ...

Wow! That's great news! I

Wow! That's great news! I was really a bit worried, especially about my Simpsons one, which (on Disc 2 of 3) has a funny wavy line running around the mid way point on the disc's surface. I'm really glad to hear that, thanks a lot! I've heard of several problems with the Season One Discs from people ...

It has a few items

It has a few items in it that aren't available yet, (40 Inch Wegas for one), and it refers you to the sonystyle.ca website for orders. Sony Stores (are theree ANY other Canadians on here??) are NOT anything like repair shops or anything. They're really nicely done, hardwood shelves, nice lighting, L...

Another question: (Thanks SOO much

Another question: (Thanks SOO much for your help so far guys!!) I'm looking at either the Sony (DUH!) DVP-NS400D or DVP-NS300. I was leaning toward the 300 because it's cheaper and I don't need a decoder (planning on getting one in a reciever later on), but it's without some extra features that I th...

I have inputs on the back of my stereo, but they're only L/R RCA cables. It does have sub and surround out, so maybe it's kinda high tech. It has inputs, but nothing to do with DD.

-Does anyone here have the 300 or 400 and the Terminator 2 UE +/or the Simpsons Season One and have no problem...
