Just out of curiosity ...What

Just out of curiosity ...

What cables are you using with your ES stuff?
After all the tests I have performed, I find Atlas Equator MK2 to be a very good choice.

I`m one set short and I might try something different.

<img src="http://www.agoraquest.com/forums/im...

Hi.Thank you all for your

Hi.

Thank you all for your inputs.

I`ve been testing for a couple of years with many different brands and some really sophisticated DIY products. You all probably know that most of Sony CD players have two outputs which makes comparison quite easier so I was quickly able to rul...

Maxxwire, Actually, I did order

Maxxwire,

Actually, I did order the DeoxIT last year, thanks!
The fiber optic cable is used for CD->MD recording only, so I did not pay so much attention since the analog connection sounds better.
How did this cable fit to your player with its EIAJ connector?

Let's have a debate about

Let's have a debate about possible modern Home Theater preamps.

My system is using two preamps and is capable of full stereo/surround separation. That's why I don't expect a multichannel preamp will kick some serious 2 channel ass, but let's say it would have to be at least as good as my ...

Hmm ... Upgrades are always

Hmm ... Upgrades are always welcome but I find it better to upgrade a component which already sound good. ;-)
So,I would like to narrow down the choice first.

I find it quite strange that there are no opinions regarding the preouts ...

-----------------
www.sony...

Yes, I did the same

Yes, I did the same search and came out with no results.
Thanks for contacting Jehill. Any word from him yet?

The DB840 and DB930 may sound different but I doubt the DB930 can compete with older analog preamps. Still, the DB840 via speaker outputs (and JBL studio monitors) sounded p...

Jehill,Thank you for your input,

Jehill,

Thank you for your input, I really appreciate it. And thanks to Maxxwire for making a contact.

I just bought STR-VA333ES, I hear they make a good preamp so I will be conducting some tests in the near future. I presume the audio follow path is the same as by STR-DA3ES/DA...
