With HDMI 1.4 on the verge of release, I'm confused now more than ever about the standards.  I didn't mind having discrete cables for audio and video.  I'd rather have that than a moving target standard.

Thanks for the review Maxx!  Reading it persuaded me to dig out my old Sony Walkman.  I had completely forgotten how well built this device was.  The Walkman WM-FS397 was first purchased by me in 1998.  The matching headphones, MDR-W14, went with me everywhere...
